The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is has begun construction preparations related to the 2025 Inaugural Ceremonies.

The presidential inauguration is perhaps the most widely known of the ceremonies held at the U.S. Capitol Building. Every four years, the AOC is responsible for constructing the inaugural platform on the building's West Front and coordinating activities with the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies.

The project is expected to be completed in January 2025.
