The Policy Analyst position is a critical role in the Office of the CAO, Human Capital Management Division (HCMD) and is responsible for the development, interpretation and maintenance of effective, progressive and strategic HR policies that are compliant with applicable employment laws and regulations and align with AOC’s mission, human capital strategic plan and workforce requirements.

As a senior Sheet Metal Mechanic, forms, joins, assembles and installs sheet metal components of air conditioning, heating, ventilation, copper roofs and kitchen appliances.

The position serves as a journeyman electrician with thorough knowledge of installation, operation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated electrical and electronic circuits/equipment and standard electronic components and controls.

The selectee will provide overall project management direction ranging from conceptual design through commissioning.

The purpose of the position is to provide assistance to journey level workers in, and learn the skills associated with, cleaning floors, carpets, and walls for areas in the Senate Office Buildings.

As a Painter, the incumbent’s tasks include coating working on furnishings and buildings accomplished by standard methods and special finishing techniques including graining, marbling and mottling using coating materials prepared in special and common methods.

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Superintendent, Senate Office Buildings is seeking a journey level Sheet Metal Mechanic for the Assistant Superintendent Tenant Services Division, Sheet Metal Section to form, join and assemble and install sheet metal components of air conditioning, heating, ventilation, copper roofs and kitchen appliances.
